About Me...

My Name is Tanya Davies, I  work as an artists model for various art groups throughout Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire. I have no formal training as an artist, but I have gained much from the artists I sit for.

I am a mother of three children, and I usually paint from my kitchen. I regularly exhibit as part of Dorset art weeks and take part in many local shows and exhibitions. I also have paintings in Fisherton Mill Gallery in Salisbury.

Painting is my passion, not a 'hobby'. I am inspired by nature, the colors, and the shapes of the countryside that surrounds me. The Hare is a subject that fascinates me; its appearance in folklore, and its associated mysticism. I’m also becoming increasingly inspired by figures and often use my daughters as models.

My ambition is to learn, improve, and to convey the love of what I do…..
